BOYS BASKETBALL
The Blue Devils had tough losses this week against Mundelein 50-26 and Libertyville 61-54. The Devils are off until Saturday with a 5:30 home tip-off against Waukegan.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
The Blue Devils defeated Waukegan on Tuesday. Macey Kocen led the way with 33 points for the Devils. Warren lost to Libertyville on Saturday 53-35. This week the Devils are on the road with a Tuesday night game at Lake Forest and a Friday night game Zion-Benton.
GIRLS BOWLING
This past week, the Blue Devils defeated Mundelein 7-2 in match play on Monday and then swept Zion-Benton 9-0 on Wednesday in one of the closest matches of the season, which also happened to be on Senior Night. The Devils won the series by 36 total pins, including a 3-pin victory in game 1 to start off the night. Brianna Haith ('20) & Mayerli Gil ('20) secured the sweep by rolling games of 212 & 211 respectively, in their final regular season games as Blue Devils. On Friday, the Township hosted the NSC Conference Tournament at Bertrand Lanes in Waukegan. The Blue Devils finished in 3rd place in the tournament. Individual standouts on the day had several medalists at both the Varsity & JV level.

This week, the Devils will compete in the IHSA Regional on Saturday at Antioch.
CHEERLEADING
The Blue Devil Cheerleaders competed in the IHSA Sectional Saturday at Belvidere North High School. They finished in 7th place. The top 5 qualified for the State Finals. But, they performed very well with their highest score of the season! What more can you ask for. Congratulations!
DEVILETTES
The Devilettes had a great weekend at State. Their performance on Friday night was outstanding! The finished in the top 12 to qualify for the finals on Saturday. It was the first time the Devilettes made it to the finals since 2016. Although they did not finish in the top three, they did fantastic against some very strong performances. They are great representatives of WTHS. Congratulations to Brittni Tengler and the team on a great season.
GYMNASTICS
The gymnastics team competed hard but fell short at the NSC Championship. The team is looking forward to show casing their hard work at the IHSA Regionals at Lake Forest HS on Thursday.
BOYS SWIMMING & DIVING
The Blue Devils easily defeated Zion on Tuesday. They have a home meet on Tuesday against Mundelein High School.
WRESTLING
The varsity wrestlers finished the regular season this week. They lost to Stevenson on Wednesday. The highlight was senior Cameron Domke recording his 100th victory as a Warren Blue Devil! On Friday, they defeated Mundelein High School. The varsity will next compete at the IHSA Regionals Saturday at Grant High School. The freshmen finished their season with a win over Mundelein 60-24. Outstanding performances: DJ Neely with a pin against a JV opponent. Mike Moberg with a pin. Colton Spencer with a tough 12-9 decision loss. The frosh team finished their season 14-9. We will have 6 frosh wrestlers continue their off-season by participating in the frosh/soph state tournament which begins with regionals Sunday, March 1. These young men will be practicing the month of February to improve upon their accomplishments during the regular season.
