BOYS CROSS COUNTRY
The boys team ran a great race as well on Saturday. They easily defeated Zion and lost to state ranked Deerfield. The Devils finished 1-2 in the race. Junior Luke Wiley won with a time of 15:05. Senior Griffin Pasha took 2nd with a time of 15:16. The Devils take on pre- season #2 Lake Zurich on Wednesday.
GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY
The girls cross-country team had a great start to their season! On Tuesday, they beat Zion 23-38, low score gets the W in cross country. On Saturday, the Devils traveled to Deerfield and walked away with a strong victory. The team finished with 6 girls in the top 12. They finished with 24 points. The next closest team had 51.
The captains this season are Nikki Harrison, Taylor Latza, Emily Carpenter, Raina Rice, and Delaney Juenger. The girls next compete on Tuesday vs Lake Zurich.
BOYS GOLF
On Thursday, Warren Varsity defeated Zion 164 to 190 at Bittersweet. Top scores for the Devils were Anders Johnson 39, Zach Zorzy 41, Nick Steinhilber 42, and Drew Evitts 42. NSC competition heats up this week with Lake Zurich at Bittersweet on Tuesday. On Wednesday, they take on Lake Zurich again at Lake Barrington Shores. On Thursday, they face Stevenson at the Arboretum.
The JV remains undefeated for the young season. On Monday, they defeated Deerfield 181-186. Sophomore Nick Carpita led the way for the Devils with a 44. Sophomore Alex Welder was close behind with a 45. Sophomores James Schmidt and Charlie Badgley both shot 46. On Thursday, they opened up NSC play with 71 stroke win over Zion 180-251! Charlie Badgley led the way with a 38. Sophomores Drew Deney and Timmy Griesser both shot 47. Freshman Adam Juarez came in with a solid 48. The JV will take on Lake Zurich on Tuesday and Stevenson on Thursday.
GIRLS GOLF
The girls golf team did not have any matches. They tee it up again on Tuesday at Village Green against Lake Zurich. On Thursday they take on Stevenson at Bittersweet.

GIRLS SWIMMING & DIVING
Both the JV and varsity teams lost to Libertyville Saturday, but they had some awesome swims! At the varsity level, Junior Grace Bevers placed 1st in both the 200 Individual Medley and 100 Freestyle. Senior Anni Stingle placed 1st in the 100 butterfly. She also took 2nd in the 50 Freestyle. Junior Hailey Benoit placed 1st in the 100 Backstroke and 3rd in the 100 Butterfly. On the JV level, Sophomore Maddie Julius placed first in both the 200 Individual Medley and 100 Backstroke. Senior Claire DeJong placed 2nd in the50 freestyle and 1st in the 500 free. On Saturday, the Devils take on the Patriots of Stevenson.
