Blue Devil football travels to Barrington Friday night for a showdown against the Broncos. BOYS GOLF
- Friday, Boys varsity golf lost to Libertyville 151-164 at Pine Meadow. Nick Steinhilber, Andreas Ackron, Vaughn Hartnig and Rohan Iyer all shot 41. Saturday, at the Warren Invite at Bittersweet, the Boys Varsity golf team placed 5th out of 11 teams, shooting a 326. Top score was Nick Steinhilber 76. Nick placed 3rd out of 87 golfers! Other top scores were Andreas Ackron 81, Vaughn Hartnig 84, and Rohan Iyer 85. Hinsdale Central shot 303, Lake Forest 319, while Stevenson, Deerfield, and Warren all shot 326. Libertyville (327),Loyola (329), Edwardsville (347), Carmel (356), Lakes (376) and Zion (408) rounded out the field.
The JV Boy’s Golf team played three times this past week. On Monday, we beat Deerfield 179-194. Top scorers were Freshman Cameron Simmons with a 41, Sophomore Adam Juarez with a 44, Freshman Rylan Lother with a 45, and Sophomore Logan Edgeworth with a 49. On Friday, we beat Libertyville 176-202. Top scorers were Freshman Cameron Simmons with a 42, Sophomore Logan Edgeworth with a 42, Freshman Rylan Lother with a 46, and Sophomore Adam Juarez with a 46. On Saturday, they played in a 6 team invite at Libertyville. We finished in 1st place with a team low of 338!! Top scorers were Freshman Cameron Simmons with a 79, Sophomore Tristan Knoll with an 84, Logan Edgeworth with an 86, and Rylan Lother with an 89.

This week, the boys are in the Lake County Invitational on Monday and have a dual against Zion on Thursday.
GIRLS GOLF
The girls golf team defeated Hersey in its first dual match at Rob Roy on Monday. Varsity shot 183. The team was led by junior Mia Cosnotti 42, junior Kylee Wiltse 45, junior Gracie Haupt 46, and junior Alaina Goeden 50. Junior Ally Badgley and freshman Jordan Dodd also competed. The JV team lost a close one vs Hersey at Nickol Knoll. The JV roster included: senior Olivia Pas, sophomores Anika Youngman and Sophia Pas, junior Josie Leibfried, senior Alexis Ehlebracht, and freshman Emily Meyers. On Friday, Varsity traveled to Shepherd’s Crook for the Libertyville Invite. The team placed 4th with a 358. Leading scorers were: Goeden 85, Cosnotti 90, Haupt 90, and Badgley 93. Wiltse and Dodd also competed. The Blue Devils plays in the Lake County Invite at Bittersweet on Monday, hosts McHenry on Tuesday, and heads to The Northern IL Food Bank to volunteer on Saturday morning. The Warren Way Athlete of the Week- freshman Jordan Dodd played in her first Varsity tournament at Shepherd’s Crook this week. After a disappointing score of 59 on the first nine, she shot a personal best 44 on the second nine. Blue Devils don’t give up. We are proud of her resilience.
BOYS SOCCER
The boys soccer team kicks off their season with an invite at Grayslake North on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
GIRLS SWIMMING & DIVING
The swim and dive team is looking to make a splash at their first competition of the season at the Lake Forest Relays.
GIRLS TENNIS
The tennis had a great start to the season. The Varsity team defeated Grayslake North 6-0. The JV1 also swept GLN. The JV2 team swept Wauconda. Here are the varsity results:

Girls volleyball starts off with a busy week. They have matches Monday and Wednesday against Carmel and Glenbrook North respectively. On Friday and Saturday they will compete in the Libertyville Tournament with 3 matches at Warren on Friday night and 2 on Saturday.
