BOYS CROSS COUNTRY
Boys’ Cross Country crushed Stevenson on Wednesday. They beat them 15-48. The boys took places 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11. Remember that the lowest score wins in cross country – and taking places 1-5 = 15 points, a perfect score! The JV and Frosh/Soph boys took that momentum into Saturday’s race at Wauconda and were able to come away with some solid races. A team comprised of mostly JV runners took 4th place in the Varsity race! The boys placed 6th in the Frosh/Soph race and 4th in the Open race. Some stand out performances were by Fahim Rafi taking 10th in the varsity, Jesse Kowalski taking 23rd in the Frosh/Soph and Ryan Sundberg taking 17th in the Open race. The main Varsity lineup will make their season debut at the Blue Devil Invite on Saturday. Races start at 9am at O'Plaine. Come for the races, stay for DJ Lonigro and the shaved ice!
