Kim Lobitz, Head Coach
Coach Lobitz is a graduate of York Community High School where she was a four-year varsity swimmer and two-year varsity water polo player. Coach Lobitz went on to compete at the NCAA level for Illinois State University where she earned a BA in History Education. She has a Masters in Education from Northern Illinois University as well as a Masters in Administration from National Louis University. She is currently in her 25th year teaching at Warren Township High School. Prior to being named the Head Boys Coach, she had served as the Boys JV water polo coach for two years at Warren. During her time at Warren, Coach Lobitz has also served as the head girls swimming coach for seven years and the boys and girls diving coach for three years. Currently, during the fall season she is the head JV girls swimming coach at Lake Forest High School. Coach Lobitz is also a USA Swimming Official with Wisconsin Swimming serving as a Starter and Referee for the past 4 years.
Erin McClory, Assistant Coach
This year we are pleased to announce Coach Erin McClory as our Assistant Boys Water Polo Coach. Coach Erin has thirteen years of combined club, high school, and college competitive swimming experience and an additional six years of high school and club coaching experience. Some of her accomplishments as an athlete include two-time WIAA High School State runner-up, multiple Tremper High School pool/school record holder, three-time High School All American, and she was awarded an athletic scholarship to the University of Wyoming. After college, she started coaching at Tremper Girls High School girls Swimming & Diving as well as Patriots Swim Team in Wisconsin. During her time with the Patriots she oversaw the 13 and over groups for boys and girls. She has experience coaching numerous state and national athletes. Coach Erin “retired” from coaching in 2016 to start a family and is excited to be back on deck coaching water polo.
