BASEBALL
The head coach is Clint Smothers. His assistants are Dan Word, Clay Kovak, Keith Stocker, Vinny Vitale, and Cory Clark. They are looking to repeat as NSC Champions and win their 6th IHSA Regional in a row!
BOYS LACROSSE
The head coach is Greg Janczak. His assistants are Michael Eddy, Devin Caesar, Trae Notson, Dan Ryan, and Justin Van Schaick. They are looking to repeat as NSC Champions, Sectional Champions, and bring home some more hardware from the state tourney!
GIRLS LACROSSE
The head coach is Claire Blakemore. Her assistants are Candace Grennie, Betsy Knapp, Kayla LeMieux, Mikayla Schultz, and Bob Thompson.
GIRLS SOCCER
The head coach is Ryan McCabe. His assistants are Doogie Clark, Rich Armour, Kerry Eddy, Kelsey Armour, and Mark Stienline. They are looking to repeat as Regional Champs!
SOFTBALL
The head coach is Jenna Charbonneau. Her assistants are Bryan McNulty, John Hergenreder, Ferris Pierson, Demetri Georgatsos, and Ryan Skidmore. They are looking to repeat as IHSA Regional Champs!
BOYS TENNIS
The head coach is Michael Edler. His assistants are Vince DeSecki, John Westerberg, and Shannon Edler.
BOYS TRACK & FIELD
The head coach is Josh Williams. His assistants are Chris Caballero, Bill Dawson, Sawyer Mc Caffery, Jason Jecmen, Rocco Oddo. They are looking to get even more athletes to the State Tourney and become medalists.
GIRLS TRACK & FIELD
The head coach is Jacob Buddell. His assistants are Cheryl Anderson, Shacuana Gaines, Tom Malkowski, Rachel Shoemaker. They too are looking to qualify more athletes to state and compete for some hardware! The girls had their first meet of the season last weekend at Wheeling HS. Here are the results:
The Blue Devils competed at the Wheeling Wildcat Relays Invitational at Wheeling High School. The team placed 4th out of 10 teams, which included a several schools from the North Suburban Conference. It was a great tune up meet to see what the competition was going to look like. Our returners, freshman, and a lot of former JV runners stepped up big and all performed very well.
Highlights of the meet include:
Lena Groth: 11’9 in long jump, best start to a season yet! Jaylah Turner: 5th place in Triple Jump.
Annika Bynum: 1st place in High Jump. Genevieve Berryman: 7’6 in Pole Vault. Alexis Krueger: 6’6 in Pole Vault .
Anastasia Smith: 30’7 in shot put. Ricquia Winston: 26’4 in shot put. Alylah Ditiangkin: 21.4 in 150 and 1st place in 55 hurdles.
Jessica Randolph: 21.3 in 150 and 5th place in 55 Dash. Kyra Chaney: 2nd place in 200 and 4th in the 55 dash.
Madison Hecker: 3rd place 4 x 800 and great last leg in 4 x 400 to get us 3rd!
Taylor Latza: 3rd place in 4 x 800 and 2:40 in the open 800. Chloe Yoder: 3rd place in 4 x 800.
Harrison: 3rd place 4 x 800. Anna Villa: 21.6 in 150 and 32.91 in open 200. Zoe Levitan: 22.8 in 150 relay.
Rice: 3rd place in 1600. Jaelyn Walker: 6th place in open 400 and 3rd place 4 x 400.
Vondracek: 1:13 in open 400 and 3rd place 4 x 400. Emily Makeever: 3rd place in 4 x 400
BOYS VOLLEYBALL
The head coach is Yun Chen. His assistants are Kyle Arnold, Keith Kremkau, Stacy Leach, and Jen Swanson.
