2011 IHSTCA Boys Assistant Coach of the Year
Coach Edler took over the duties of the Varsity Boys tennis coach for the 2020 after spending the past 15 seasons as the assistant varsity tennis coach. He also currently works as an assistant coach for the Girls' tennis program during the fall. Previously, Coach Edler was the Girls Varsity coach for three years. Coach Edler was a finalist for the IHSTCA Boys Assistant Coach of the Year in 2008 and 2010. Coach Edler was honored as the 2011 Boys Assistant Coach of the Year for the State of Illinois.
Coach Edler teaches English at the Almond Campus.

Girls Varsity Coach
Coach DeSecki is also the Girls Varsity Tennis Coach. Coach DeSecki is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago. Coach DeSecki has run the Warren Blue Devil Summer Tennis Camp for the past twelve years. He also runs the Girls Tournament Camps.
Coach DeSecki was honored as the 2013 IHSTCA Girls Varsity Coach of the Year for the State of Illinois. His girls’ team finished 7th in state and had all six state players earn All-State honors. The Girls finished team finished in 5th place at state with four more All-State honors in 2014. Coach DeSecki was also a finalist for the IHSTCA Boys Assistant Coach of the Year in 2010 and 2011. Coach DeSecki is the lead teacher of the O’Plaine Campus Social Studies Department.

Coach Edler joined the boys’ staff 8 years ago. She has coached with the Girls program for the past 18 seasons. Previously, Coach Edler previously coached at her Alma Mater, St. Francis High School in Wheaton, IL. She studied English at Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island. Coach Edler teaches in the English Department at the Almond Campus.
